James Ward Henry II

Designer

James Ward Henry II has been designing in Laguna Beach and surrounding areas for over 30 years. His architectural studies began while working with his father, Jim Henry, a well-known architect in Laguna Beach. James' design experience includes all styles of residential homes from traditional, historical, to contemporary. His extensive knowledge and experience working with city approval and construction process is highly beneficial to his clients. Outside of work, James serves as the Chair of the Laguna Beach Heritage Committee and Vice President of the South Laguna Civic Association. He can also be found conducting Dawn Patrol near Honeybuns between Brooks and Oak Street.

Jennifer Saramago

Draftsman

Jennifer has been working at JWH II Design & Planning for 20 years as the main draftsman. Jennifer has 12 years of experience working in the building industry. Her past experience included off-site assistant purchasing agent for Taylor Woodrow Homes and executive assistant to VP of Purchasing at Standard Pacific Homes. Jennifer is responsible for creating initial as-builts (drawing of original floor plan to initiate design process), creating zoning packages and structural packages.

jULIA HENRy

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Julia recently joined the JWHII team as the office administrator. She manages day-to-day client interactions, invoicing, and project updates. In addition to client support, she handles city and municipal administrative tasks, coordinating permits and documentation to keep projects moving efficiently. Prior to joining the team, Julia obtained her Master’s in International Relations from the London School of Economics. Her previous work experience includes the UN Refugee Agency, Eterna Partners, and the Downtown Women’s Center.
